I thought I may as well write about this since well, it’s a pretty useful app. Basically, Readdle docs is an app for the Apple iPad which gives you some decent file management tools, including zip support, text editing, music and video playback, and also supports connecting to FTP servers etc.
As much as I don’t like paying for apps, at £2.99 I can’t complain, the functionality is excellent and it’s another example of a program that makes me reluctant to bother using my laptop.
Some people would say that this is old news because this already happened 12 hours ago.
Regardless, it seems likely that Steam could be seeing a Linux port by the end of the year (at least, that was the impression I took away from it.) This may be worth a read:

This is a blog post. Today it is raining quite heavily, which is probably not the best thing ever since I’m going out shortly, and I don’t own a car. That said, trains do exist.
Perhaps someone just needs to invent the umbrella. That would be neat.
Just got my Razer Blackwidow in the post today – switching to it from a Razer Lycosa.
So, first impressions:
I’m switching from my previous Razer Lycosa, which uses rubberised dome keys – the Razer Blackwidow however uses Cherry MX blue switches. As far as typing goes, something that I noticed pretty much immediately was that the keys are very, very light to type on and give very good tactile response. It is however something that will require getting used to from the Lycosa.
First of all, the rubberised dome keyboards pretty much require you to bottom out the keys when you type – this is something that ideally you should avoid on a mechanical keyboard. With this in mind, the keyboard is pretty loud, that said, from what I’ve heard it’s not too bad once you get used to typing on something with mechanical keys as you tend to stop “bottoming out” the keys, so you’re only getting the clicky sound of the switches, and supposedly over time you will “break in” the keys, causing them to generally become a bit nicer to type on, and also not as insanely loud.
Hello carbon based life-form. You appear to have stumbled upon my blog, which is a site known as HippieJoel.com. It’s a simple website (well, maybe not the loops part), where I post the random thoughts which come into my mind.
Some people would argue that blogs need to use something other than the default WordPress theme and have some decent content. I disagree. You might have expected something a bit better especially as I work on websites on a daily basis, but then that would be effort. I’ll do something nice eventually though.
Anyway, I’ll post some decent stuff soon.
